Matcha Tea

There are a few different ways I like to make my  matcha tea; I'll either have it as a latte or as a smoothie.

Matcha Tea Latte

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon Matcha powder

2oz hot water

1 cup Homemade almond milk

1 tablespoon raw 100% natural honey (optional)

Preparation:

Place matcha into a cup, melt matcha by adding 2 oz hot water and stirring until matcha becomes a smooth paste, transfer matcha tea into a cup, warm up almond milk (best resultS if you have a steamer) pour almond milk over matcha tea, add honey.

Matcha Tea Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 young coconut

1 tablespoon flaxseeds

1 1/2 teaspoon matcha tea

1/2 tablespoon honey

Cup of ice

Directions:

Crack coconut open and place water in a blender, scoop out coconut eat with a spoon and place into the blender, add matcha, flaxseeds, honey and ice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
